'Uy' Netulh|Good Morning,

Let us take a moment to acknowledge the caretaking and stewardship of this land in which we live and our role with Indigenous Peoples specifically the Hul'qumi'num and SENCOTEN speaking people. Let us acknowledge that this is their territory in which we get to take care of those we love, take care of ourselves, and take care of the land. May we learn from and alongside them on the importance of caring for Mother Earth.

All lockers in the gym change rooms must be emptied today as well. Thank you!

Grads....please pick up your Grad photo collages todayOtherwise, they will end up in the garbage. Thank you!

Jr and Sr boys looking to build their basketball skills are invited to join basketball training on Tuesday from 5-7pmCoaches are planning to run these sessions through the summer as well.

Volleyball training open to Girls and Boys, Jr and Sr players will start next Wednesday, July 2nd from 5 - 7pm. This is open to anyone looking to build their skills and play on a volleyball team next year. Also open to current grade 12’s.

Attention Grade 12s!

Your sd64.org (Microsoft 365 account) will be shut down after graduation. This means you’ll lose access to your school email, OneDrive, and files. Please check your email for simple steps on how to download and save your documents. Make sure it’s done before the end of the month — once it’s gone, it’s gone!

After school today there will be an end of school party at the Core Youth Center. The Moonshiners will be playing a set followed by an open aux DJ set. There will be free yerbas and $1 pizza slices. Music starts after 4:10pm and will go until 7pm.

Thank you to every student that attends GISS.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful selves with the rest of us every day. To those graduating and those moving on from our school, you will be missed I can assure you of that. To those returning, I am excited for every new memory we will make individually and together

I wish you the very best for the summer ahead.

I hope to see you around soon?
