Year-End Message to Students and Families

As we come to the end of another school year, it's a natural time to pause, look back, and appreciate all that we've experienced together.

This year at GISS has been one of deepening learning—a journey of exploring what it truly means to learn at the intersection of mastery, identity, and creativity, and all of it steeped in connection. From rich academic discussions and creative projects to student-led events, athletic achievements, and powerful moments of leadership and advocacy—our students have inspired us every step of the way.

To our Graduates, we are so proud of you—and equally sad to see you go. We wish you all the best as you take your next steps. May you carry with you the GISS values of learning, community, and creativity, and continue to lead with integrity and purpose.

To our International Students, thank you for learning with us and sharing your cultures. We’re grateful for the many ways you enriched our school community, and we wish you all the best as you return home.

To our staff members who are moving on to new positions, new adventures, or well-earned retirements—this is not goodbye, just "see you later." You will always be part of the GISS family.

To the families, thank you for sharing your students with us. It is a privilege to teach and learn alongside them. Your support makes all the difference.

And to the many students returning and to all our new students coming next year—we can’t wait to see you in September, as we continue to deepen our learning together.
