There is no general fee to attend Gulf Islands Secondary School. Some fees that may be requested, depending on individual students programs include:

Shop Supplies $35: Covers costs of take-home materials. Not required to participate in Shop classes. 

Art Supplies $20: Covers costs of take home materials. Not required to participate in Art classes. 

Athletic Fee $50: One time per year fee, can cover multiple sports. Covers athletics program related costs including BC School Sports registration, league fees and tournament fees, and other administrative items. For students who choose to participate in extra-curricular athletics only. 

Graduation Ceremony Fee $65: Covers costs associated with 性视界 Graduation Ceremony, including audio-visual equipment rental and technicians, photography, other equipment rental, decorations, memorabilia, and Graduation Reception costs. For current Grads only.

GISPA Fee $1500: Covers costs associated with the GISPA program, including specialized instruction and other learning experiences. GISPA is a program of choice. 

Payments of all school fees can be made by cash or cheque at the office or by e-transfer to gisspayment@sd64.org.  

If the above fees shall cause financial hardship, we will accept payment by instalments (one or more post-dated cheque(s). In cases of more serious hardship, we can make other arrangements. All schools in School District #64 (Gulf Islands) have a School Fees Waiver Policy. In the event of an inability to pay, please contact the Principal at 250-537-9944. All requests will remain CONFIDENTIAL.
